PU and PVC synthetic leather, from development to finishing.
Material construction, coating, finishing and inspection are interconnected. Salder considers each stage as part of developing synthetic leather for its intended application.
Material development and manufacturing
Appearance, handle and technical performance are evaluated together across PU/PVC, Semi-PU and 100% PU constructions. Our Hayrabolu facility brings product development, coating, surface treatment, finishing and quality control together. Monitored processes from incoming raw materials through finishing support consistent quality and repeatable manufacturing.
Colour, grain and sample assessment
A colour code helps identify a material within a collection, but an on-screen image cannot replace a physical sample. Final colour, grain and handle approval is based on a physical sample. The selected construction and intended use must be considered alongside the collection and colour.
Laboratory checks and technical scope
Laboratory controls assess physical properties and performance for the intended application. Fire-retardant options, antibacterial features, waterproofing, cleanability, UV and abrasion resistance must not be assumed to be identical across all collections. Review the exact product’s current technical sheet, available documentation and application conditions together.
